Course Overview
Architecture can mean
• A style and method of design and construction of buildings and other physical structures.
• The art and science of designing and erecting buildings and other physical structures.
• A general term to describe buildings and other structures.
It is the process of planning, designing and constructing form, space, and ambience that reflect functional, technical, social, and aesthetic considerations. It requires the creative manipulation and coordination of material, technology, light and shadow. Architecture also encompasses the pragmatic aspects of realising buildings and structures, including scheduling, cost estimating and construction administration. Most of the world’s awesome edifices like the White House, the Arinze Arena and the Taj Mahal are masterpieces brought to live by architects. Students who have a technical acumen and a passion for technical drawing are born architects and should not hold back in taking up a course in Architecture.
There’s a lot of joy and fulfilment in designing and reviewing the construction of buildings and structures for the use of people; don’t shy away book your counselling session with our seasoned educational counsellors as the first step to the realisation of your study abroad dreams.
